Last 3JOSTUDIO April (represented by Jesus Garcia Trejo ) in collaboration with architect M ª del Mar Dominguez Herrero participated, under the slogan "THE PLAZA IN DANCE" on the elaboration of the Competition for the Remodeling of the Valencia Country Square in the town of Picanya (Valencia), competition with the intervention of a jury, proposed by the City Council of the Valencian town of Picanya and in collaboration with Competitions Office of the Official College of Architects of the Valencia region.
Pedestrianization the historical, related spaces most significant of the population, being the square point in the provision of articulating them. This makes the plaza will become the heart of this system and project a consistent program uses all of them.
The proposal outlines the duality between a zone of cultural activity and leisure activity area wide and suggestive. In the latter area, there will be a sequence of pergolas located in such a way that seems to revolve over the square as a continuous strip that houses the various areas of residence. In this way we solve the problem of sunlight providing shade. Very close to them have masses of vegetation and small mounds with water jets, environmental microclimates generated in space.
