ArtRage Tutorial – Canvas Positioner The canvas positioner is a Very useful tool when you're painting in ArtRage, you can pop it up by clicking the canvas icon on the menu on top.
With this tool you can zoom, rotate, or move the canvas, it's a good idea to have it showing all the time to save some time, though it can take some space on the program, so you'll need a decent sized monitor.
Rotating the canvas is one of the most important things you can do with this tool, you can find an angle you're comfortable painting with or look at your composition from different points of view.
