New Chapters of The Circle of the Wilted Rose

Saltar al español

It's been a while since the last post I made promoting The Circle of the Wilted Rose webcomic, but now there are exciting news.

Luf Creative Studios created a website for the comic at wiltedrose.lufcs.com to promote their new publishing system, where they update every monday, wednesday and friday instead of releasing a chapter every few weeks.

And while we're at it, Joyce's work really improved in the last pages, she took a whole new turn with the style and it's looking great.

Check out the comic at: wiltedrose.lufcs.com

Father Loss Sympathy Quotes

scalloping

Here is my first mission accomplished!
good just missing my eye and a little color on the cheeks and tip of the hat after I put a button.

scalloping machine did it with a tiny zigzag stitch, thick beige color that I remembered that in a book that I have all the applications are made so

dale click a photo to you see it in detail

And because Carolina has given me permission to put something in English ... encourage me to do these letters embroidered with my embroidery machine almost never use

So
is as complete as we can see so far:)

This is a book that take the idea of \u200b\u200bdoing the zig zag festooned with beige, the author suggest a package as well .... for all your applications

Here you get a book
approaches

look at this ... that pretty flower

and this ....
Undoubtedly, this technique is fast ... and I really liked how it turned my block of Santa with this idea.

Barwick Grandfather Clock

different application with teflon

There is a technique for positioning applications is done with a sheet of Teflon (the same material they are now cooking utensils for baking) but this is very thin and transparent

Here you put the packet where mine came (other brands) but to give you an idea

I explain how I do it:

put down the paper with the picture .....
(here I had forgotten to make the drawing "looking the other way) luckily I noticed before, only I forgot to take the picture, but hey it is what it puts down .... drawing on paper
then you put the teflon sheet over

(and here I realized and turn the picture) Well
and taking down the paper and above the teflon are placed above the teflon parts of the application so

.... as teflon sheet is transparent you can see where the pieces are

Once before taking any pieces in place .... now I put the hot iron over

note:
I use another sheet of Teflon for this step but it would not matter if it is not and you want to put directly

Now I have all my application attached to the Teflon sheet that is down .... but as the Teflon non-stick .. ... ....... simplente

....... so the complete detachment:

still adherent, that when off the adhesive will not stick to Teflon

Y is ready to be applied to the fabric so:

Perfect
do .... now if
scalloping leave the whiskers to make them last.

to
This technique is very practical application that is faster than usual, I loved poreso share with you.

Can I Put Large Bottle Of Shampoo In Luggage

my Telitas for Christmas SAL SAL

Yesterday I went to buy some Telitas in dark blue tones that did not have any in those colors to make the background of the tapestry Christmas

I decided that I now wash before using the patch fabrics that I have read that some colors (especially strong) may only drop a little color in the first wash and contaminate the colors clear that on the one hand and also because I prefer to shrink now and not after made the quilt.

That if, if they put the fabrics to the dryer is recommended to do so quietly heat (low heat) and it appears that the strong heat may create permanent wrinkles cotton.

Well ... to wash the fabrics:)

Grayscale Conversion

Today I Was Having a chat with Jon Hodgson who pointed me to a website with different ways of converting an image to grayscale. I started experimenting with an image, and damn, it makes a BIG difference.

I especially liked methods that could be adjusted with the sliders in Photoshop, you can customize your result a lot. Other methods are more straightforward, but I think they're all better than a straight desaturation.

You can see in the image how different grayscales conversions look.
